Double curved aluminum panels have curvature in two principal directions. Domed, saddle-shaped and other complex surfaces require coordinated panel divisions and geometry, with the fabrication route selected after the project model is reviewed.
Supply the 3D surface model, panel marks, edge details, reference datums and supporting frame information. Tooling, forming or welded construction, reinforcement and surface finishing are reviewed for the particular geometry. Any sample, mock-up, dimensional tolerance or inspection method must be agreed before production.

How do double curved panels differ from single curved panels?
Double curved surfaces bend in two principal directions. They normally require a 3D surface definition and more detailed fabrication review than a cylindrical panel.
